Barcelona is already facing a ban from FIFA as the Spanish outfit is now allowed to sign any new players from the transfer market until January of 2016 but the side of Luis Enrique has now been hit with another blow as Barcelona cant even train their youth players who are less than 18 years old.
The Spanish outfit did manage to find a way sign new players without breaching the ban that FIFA imposed on them and Luis Enrique was able to sign Alex Vidal as well as Arda Turan but neither of those players are able to play a official competitive match for Barcelona until 2016.
‘’La Masia’’ is the name of the football training facilities of Barcelona, it’s what their youth academies is usually called and this latest ban will restrict them as they do not have the same kind of freedom when it comes to developing younger players and turning them into superstars.
Andres Iniesta, Xavi Hernandez, Lionel Messi are just a few of the world class players that La Masia has produced but this ban will not allow Barcelona to even train their younger players which seriously limits the Spanish club and their ability to continue producing more outstanding performers.
There are 9 youngsters who were forced to leave the premises of La Masia due to their transfers not being compliant with the rules that were established by FIFA. These youngsters are : Theo Chendri,Kais Ruis, Paik, Jang, Lee, Boby Adekanye, Takefusa Kabo, Patrice Sousia and Ben Lederman.
A few of those youngsters who were mentioned previously had to leave La Masia and return to their childhood clubs which is the case of Takefusa Kubo and Kais Ruis. Paik does not have to suffer such a big consequence as the South Korean youngster is the only academy player who is able to train with Barcelona due to him now being 18 years old.
